When a person uses injecting equipment which includes a needle, syringe, filter, water, glasses, tourniquet and surface and is then followed by another person reusing the same injecting equipment. This action can result in the transfer of HIV, Hepatitis B and C; needles and syringes are the most important pieces of equipment for transfer of these viruses.
