Membership Conditions for AHRA:
Thank you for your interest in joining the growing Southeast Asia harm reduction Association’s network of harm reduction groups and initiatives dedicated to confronting the drugs and health crisis in our region, and advancing the implementation of the cascade of harm reduction services.
To become a member of AHRA, individuals or organizations must:
- Commit to harm reduction as a public health approach.
- Adhere to AHRA’s Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards.
- Actively participate in AHRA’s activities and initiatives.
- Be located and operating in selected ASEAN countries (for full voting members).
Members will have the opportunity to collaborate on harm reduction initiatives, stay informed about developments, and enjoy membership benefits, such as receiving tailored and informed harm reduction and policy advocacy support. Responsibilities include supporting harm reduction principles, complying with AHRA’s Statute, and actively participating in meetings.
Termination of membership may occur by voluntary withdrawal, cessation of operations, or expulsion for non-compliance.
