Strengthening After-Release Linkages to Care for a Healthier Tomorrow
We’re excited to co-organize the Training/Workshop on ‘After-Release Linkage to Care’, taking place from November 11-15, 2024, at Green Lake Resort Hotel in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This impactful event, held in partnership with the Substance Abuse Academic Foundation (SAAF) and the Bridging Group, brings together local and international experts to tackle crucial issues in prison health care, with a focus on improving care linkages post-release.
Through site visits, training sessions, and discussions, we aim to equip family physicians and primary care teams in upper northern Thailand with effective strategies and tools to reduce recidivism, combat overdose mortality, and enhance health and social outcomes for individuals transitioning from prison to community life.
